Murals & 3D

My murals and 3D public art are quite different and separate from my other artwork, although most have a spiritual element.  Painting huge is a very freeing experience and I've been fortunate to have been chosen to contribute my talent to public art in the many communities I've been a part of in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and now Michigan through commissions from state art organizations and businesses. Other murals and faux marble/gilding projects have been executed in private residences in all 4 states.

Enid Symphony Center
Enid Symphony Center

Yes, that's me at the top of a 32' scaffolding working as a muralist in the renovation of the old Enid Masonic Temple as we transformed it into the new Enid Symphony Center. JoAnn Day, the director of the mammoth project, would send me up there to correct murals once they were hung up high. We created the murals on tables before hanging, but some problems weren't apparent until murals were hung. Check out http://www.daystudio.com/gallery/enid2002/before.html to see more.
