Symbolism of Flying Creatures

In my work, flying creatures take you away from your life struggles, no matter what you wrestle with. Many of my studio hours are spent researching to find out the symbolism connected with each creature as it relates to the human soul. I find it intriguing that so many different cultures from throughout the world and from different times in history have such similar meanings for the same creatures.
